Laki High School Bujaga (formerly Bujaga Secondary School) was founded in 1977 a community school and later it became a government Aided secondary school for O’level in 1981 and A’level (HSC) boarding secondary school for both boys and girls since March 1983. It is the oldest secondary school in Rwampara district.

Laki high School Bujaga is the only government secondary school that implements the universal secondary school (USE) and Universal Post O’level Education and Training (UPOLET) programme in both Ndeija sub-county and Buteraniro- Nyeihanga Town council, Rwampala district. It is located 38km from Mbarara town and 2km of Mbarara – Kabale road.
